Avery Nassetta
Recruit Profile
Multi - athlete, Great awareness and Field vision, Calm under pressure, Great soccer IQ, Adjusts on the fly, Versatile, Impact Player, 50/50 winner, Leader by example, Team player, Coachable, Good listener.
I started playing soccer when I was 5. Being the last of 6 girls I have always been ready to go! My first soccer club experience was on a U9 team as a U7. I continued to play up an age group on that top team until US Soccer went to birth years. During this time, I played every position on the field for the club. I even played forward for 2 years. I then moved to the DA and played for Washington Spirit and now I am a part of the GA with Metro United. I played, and continue to play, primarily the 6 but also step into Center Back, and attacking mid when called upon. I have always been a successful multi-sport athlete! I am an excellent year round swimmer (national group, until covid) and diver, and I have won several competitions and hold a few records in my summer league and at school. I have also played lacrosse at my school. I am self taught on the piano and guitar, and have interests in many other things such as horseback riding (I can Lasso!), painting, and cooking. I haven't come across anything yet that I am not willing to try, I am naturally curious at heart and willing to take risks to better myself as an individual! I am a team player first, but will take my opportunities when they present themselves. I am a good listener and take instruction well, even when it hurts!
