Cecelia Pugsley

2023 | VA: Potomac Falls
Recruit Profile
Dedicated, technical player with strong passing and IQ; state-runner-up in Indoor Track 1000M, qualified in 5 events.

I started playing soccer when I was around 4 years old. I enjoyed it and played on the "crossover" team, the group transitioning from rec to travel. I then found myself playing travel soccer up until U14 when I began playing on the Washington Spirit 04 DA team. From ages 7-14 I swam competitively, making it to the Junior Olympics and the Zones meets. When I got to high school I began running Cross Country and Track, quickly establishing myself as a dominant runner. I made it to the state meet in Cross Country getting 24th and I qualified for the state track meet in 5 events. In soccer I have always been proud of my endurance capabilities and my ability to find good passes, even with my left foot. In school I am very hard on myself and I always strive to get an A+. I have been part of many clubs at school and I plan on taking AP classes this coming year as a sophomore.
